| The curriculum is designed to recognize mechanical tools, to be familiar with the process of mechanical equipment operation, to possess the basic operation skills on locksmith, lathe, milling machine, computer numerical control (CNC) and precise mechanical-based machining, and to the use of mechanical drawing in response to the demands in the field of industry.

In terms of operation skill training, the department of machinery emphasizes automation, computer-assisted technology, traditional machining and skill test as educational objectives. For accomplishing the objectives of mechanical education, the department of machinery combines theory and practice training programs, providing with mechanical-electrical integration, computer-aided graphic design (CAD), and computer-aided manufacturing control (CAM).
